For Centuries, Women Have Beautified Their Eyes and Lips

Now modern science and cosmetology have merged to create a technique for enhancing one's natural beauty.  This process is called Permanent Makeup.

At Faces in Living Color, the process is done using the manual SofTap method.  SofTap is a registered trademark of SofTap Inc., and is recognized as a leading technique in the field for safety and accuracy.  We use a set of fine, in-line needles, that are dipped into a pigment mixture and then softly tapped into the skin.  Traditional methods of tattooing use a reciprocating needle which pushes color into the skin.

The SofTap method gently lifts the skin to deposit color.  As a result, there is a definite difference in the amount of pain experienced by the client.  Many clients who have had permanent makeup with the traditional tattoo machine can attest to the fact that the SofTap method is far gentler.  Because it is gentler, the skin recovers faster.  Clients have been known to go out on the town immediately after their procedure.

Eyebrows

Any woman who uses eyebrow pencil will love having Permanent Makeup.  It will look better that her own makeup, but will not need to be applied every day.  If her brows are sparse, Permanent Makeup can save her 10 to 20 minutes every morning.

Eyeliner

Small amounts of pigments are applied at the base of the lashline, making lashes look fuller.  A solid line, small dots or a soft "smudge look" can be acheived.

Lip Liner/Color

Lip liner corrects asymmetry and adds definition and fullness.  It can reshape your lips.  The line can be applied lightly for a very natural look or more heavily for a dramatic look, depending on the client's wishes.
